Since then, I bought my new second hand car from a guy who posted it in a FB group, and today, offered an apartment for rent via another FB group. It is so incredibly useful. Scary. Soon they may be bigger in video than YouTube (Google).
You may have read about this: FB offers free internet to poor people in India (good), yet restrict the content these people can see to what FB likes them to see (bad). An Indian regulator stopped this for now, but….
The idea is that all your internet activity is hosted through FB. 1300 million people are on FB, about 1000 million on a daily basis (includes me).
I went long on FB in November and sold early January, making a decent profit. Now, I feel I missed the occasion to buy again. Hoping for a dip which may not come again.
Is not anyone with such a global reach inherently or potentially evil? Yet, their offer is awesome!
Are they going to dominate the world?
