Now India has finished the world’s largest solar plant which can provide power to 150000 Indian homes. It is 10 square kilometers big.

One Watt of power cost them 1$ to install. Down from 50$, 30 years ago!
On the same day I read that Chile has just completed the biggest solar plant in Latin America (see photo on top). A bit less expensive at 0.7$ a Watt.

(A tip from Rafael on Twitter. Thanks).
Funny numbers in both articles. The Indian plant is somewhat bigger and provides for only 150000 homes, while Chile provides for 240000 homes. Do Indians use more power than Chileans? Oh, well, journalists writing about stuff they do not understand...I see this all the times!
Good luck to Donald to get his coalminers back to work!
